Taking responsibility for the safe shipping and arrival of your personal possessions is our main priority. We are proud members of the IAM (International Association of Movers) and hold a full international shipping licence. This allows us to ship your possessions from the United Kingdom, directly to a location of your choice, without having to involve third parties.
When you’re shipping a car or a container load of furniture to anywhere in the world, we can provide you with an all in one international removals service. This takes the stress and the hassle out of your relocation. As part of our valued service, we can also handle the international paperwork, customs requirements, and any bureaucratic red tape.
Overseas Removals
Our complete International Moving Services can include many additional services. Why not try our complete packing service to remove the stress of moving completely? We also offer a bespoke wooden crating service provided by our sister company Purdie Property Maintenance. This means that any oversized, or expensive goods can be safely wrapped and packaged inside a wooden container. This not only protects your goods, but it makes it easier for transportation and delivery.
With international removals, you are in control. Work alongside your move co-ordinator every step of the way, helping to provide customs values for your goods. You can also reduce time at ports and customs when things are professionally packed and inventoried.
We also offer various types of International Shipping to suit your removal needs. Whether price or time dependent, we can offer space on 20 or 40ft shipping containers, solo shipments, air freight or a direct courier as shipping options.
International Moving Insurance
MoveProtect:
Under our Terms and Conditions, we accept liability for loss or damage to your property caused by our negligence only up to a maximum of £40.00 per item or the actual value of the property either lost or damaged (whichever is less, see paragraph 9.c of our Terms and Conditions), and it is recommended that you arrange insurance at your own expense to cover the Maximum Replacement Value of the property submitted for removal.
Alternatively, you may request for us to accept an enhanced liability for your property up to your stated Maximum Replacement Value under MoveProtect, subject to your agreement to pay our additional MoveProtect charge. Further details can be found in the MoveProtect Addendum.
MoveProtect Super Liability calculated at £30.00 per £1,000 of cover required during the removal. The MoveProtect charge is based on the Maximum Replacement Value stated on the MoveProtect Overseas Valuation Form, with a minimum replacement value of £1,000.
If you submit a claim under MoveProtect, additional claims processing administration charges apply, and we will deduct a £150.00 charge from any settlement awarded to cover our administration costs. Our claims processing administration charges will be waived if you opt for Super Liability.
